Summary of service provided
Vision – our vision is to create safe supportive spaces for those working in agriculture to meet and support each other.
Mission – to inspire people, resource them and to creates spaces where connection can take place based on the principles of mutual aid for well-being
Strategy – We do this by creating Pop Up Living Rooms in farmers markets and local agricultural shows across Somerset and with colleagues in Devon.
Purpose – To reduce social isolation and increase wellbeing within the farming and agricultural community.
Services offered within OMH
Farmerados—Friendly support to share and connect with others who understand farming life. Farmerados is inspired and supported by Camerados, the social movement to bring people together from all walks of life to spend time alongside each other. The aim is to get farmers talking and opening up about their struggles and worries to find comfort and support from the local agricultural community.
