Help us to make positive changes across Somerset’s mental health care by become an Expert by Experience

We are looking to find people interested in representing those with lived experience of mental illness to join Open Mental Health in Somerset. 

Join our Expert by Experience group to strategically influence Somerset Mental Health services.

Do you have experience of:

• Using Somerset mental health services?
• Being severely affected by mental illness or complex needs?
• Caring for someone living with a mental illness?
• Contributing to other forums or groups that help facilitate change?

As an Expert by Experience, you will co-produce a range of community mental health services, feed into strategic decisions, and contribute to both the design and review of new models of care.

This is a voluntary role, but Open Mental Health do offer optional payment for Expert by Experience positions.
